![]() ![]() It is not necessary to fertilize poppies. Poppies should be watered regularly, but they can tolerate dry conditions. Lilac Pompom is an erect, hardy annual with deeply-lobed, grey-green leaves and, in summer, erect, leafy stems bearing large, double, fringed, lilac flowers. The best method for planting is to mix one part seed with 5 parts sand and scatter over the prepared growing area. Once seedlings emerge, thin them so they are 15 to 18 inches (38-46 cm.) apart. Be sure to keep the seeds moist until they germinate. For an early start, start the seed indoors in peat pots 6-8 weeks before the last frost and plant outdoors. In early spring (sometime from the end of April through May), loosen the soil in the planting area, then direct sow seeds into the soil, raking them in lightly. The first pom-pom flower Tiffanie ever made was a Green Trick dianthus, a flower in the same genus as the carnation. Do not attempt to move seedlings, since they resent having their roots disturbed. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination, which should occur within 14-20 days. Direct sow in early spring, pressing the seed into the surface of the soil. Poppy seedlings do not transfer well so we recommend directly sowing or sowing in a decomposable pot. Lilac petals contrast nicely above blue-grey foliage to create a truly stunning flower. What I wrote about on r/NFA was in response to peoples concerns about KeyMo fitment issues due to the different versions of KeyMo that were being released. The newest KeyMo mount (which I'll call Gen 3 KM) had ~.05" of material added back in front of the threads, and that extra material prevents the KeyMo from shouldering in the Helios QD because that extra material bottoms out on the internal taper shoulder of the Helios QD. Fitment issues were also occuring with other manufacturers silencers. We know it's not an issue with the CGS side of the equation since all of our parts are checked with thread gauges, and because they were rechecked when we took the parts back to see what the issue was. ![]() Soon after releasing Gen 2 KM, Dead Air then changed the design of the KeyMo mount again after there were issues reported here and elsewhere of KeyMo mounts not fitting various silencers due to male thread issues on the KeyMo mounts. Ray Frank coined the term “motorhome”, starting with his first one of 1953, built on a Dodge truck chassis. But in terms of what it became can be reduced down to the key pioneers of the modern motorhome, of which there are just really two. Obviously, the whole history of motor homes is long and a bit complex, since one-off and small-scale production “motor-homes” have been built since the Model T’s day quite a few on its chassis, actually, like this 1915 Lamsteed Kampkar. That a little outfit in rural Iowa desperate to create some jobs was able to revolutionize the RV industry in a comparable way is a story worth telling, especially when I found one of the earliest models to help tell it. It was a one-time occurrence, but one with lasting impact. Henry Ford was able to slash the price of his car thanks to efficient mass production, making it accessible to a vast segment of the population. But only once since the Model T revolutionized the car industry, has a similar revolution taken place in regard to non-passenger car wheeled vehicles. Check it out in the video below.( first posted ) I know some of you are probably a bit weary with my obsession with RVs. While I can't comment on whether it's worth the asking price, this Brave sounds fantastic with that 440 V8 between the front seats. Listed on RV Trader for $17,990, the motorhome is located in Centennial, Colorado. The odometer in the dash shows 56,500 miles (90,928 km), only 800 miles (1,287 km) more since the rebuilt 440 V8 was dropped between the front wheels. The same goes for the interior, which showcases new upholstery, solid cabinets, and like-new wood trim. There's no word on whether the camper's exterior has been restored up until now, but it appears to be in great condition. On the flip side, the fuel gauge, generator, rear fuel tank switch, and windshield washer need to be fixed. On top of that, the original roof A/C unit, oven, water heater, water outlets and drains, refrigerator, and cruise control system still work. The starter, thermostat, propane system, and audio system have also been upgraded. It also comes with a long list of new and rebuilt features, including the exhaust system, radiator, fuel pump, brakes, and steering gearbox. We're probably looking at a seriously hot-rodded motorhome.īut this Brave is not just about an engine swap. Output is a mystery in this case, but video footage of the Winnebago reveals a muscle car-like exhaust note. The RB delivered up to 390 horsepower in "Six Pack" and "6-BBL" forms during the muscle car era, but ratings dropped to 255 horses toward the late 1970s. But it also motivated the Dodge Ram van, the Ramcharger SUV, as well as the Plymouth Trail Duster. It was offered in all Mopar muscle cars during the golden era, so you'll find it in classics like the Dodge Challenger and Charger, Plymouth Barracuda and Road Runner, as well as the Chrysler 300. Part of the Chrysler B series, this 440 was introduced in 1965 and soldiered on until 1978. There's no word as to which vehicle it was sourced from, but it's most likely of the RB variety. The engine is part of a restoration process that started sometime in 2017. Its owner (and seller) opted for a 440-cubic-inch, big-block V8 of the Mopar variety. Well, this 1974 didn't take the LS route. One had a 6.0-liter sourced from a 2010 Chevrolet Express, while the other one had an unidentified version of the same small block.
